The Third Delaval Arms Golf Day

The sun shone on Whitley Bay Golf Course on Friday 5th May, when thirty-one teams of four took part in
The Third Delaval Arms Golf Society Charity Golf Day for Rainbow Trust.

The event is organised by Billy Snr, Neil and Billy Rodgerson of W Rodgerson and Sons, who tirelessly
devote time and energy into creating a great day. The main sponsor for the event is Drager Safety, with
many more local businesses providing prizes for the raffle and the auction. A signed and framed picture
of Newcastle United Footballing legends Jackie Milburn, Malcolm MacDonald and Alan Shearer created
interest and some fun in the auction, when it finally went to a telephone bidder.

The final sum raised from the three events is a fantastic £20,740.00!

The 4th event will take place on Friday May 4th 2007, when once again Whitley Bay Golf Club will be
the venue for another fun Delaval Arms Golf Society Day.
